    Two Broadway and Symphonic Pops favorite artists join your symphony in an extraordinary evening revisiting classic songs from Broadway’s Golden Age and beyond. The most popular tunes from Porter, Gershwin, Berlin, Hamlisch, Lloyd Webber and more are sung by Phantom of the Opera stars Lisa Vroman and Doug LaBrecque.  With unforgettable melodies and beautiful lyrics, their incredible vocal talents make this an elegant evening of beloved songs that audiences will always remember.



    Tracing the evolution of Jazz, this program begins at the turn of the 20th century with music of Scott Joplin and Jelly Roll Morton.  Stripling and Gordon take the audience from the roots of jazz right on through the different eras of America’s original art form.  It’s all about Jazz from Ragtime, Swing, Big Band, Bee-Bop and Fusion. Song titles include: “Take Five,” “Birdland, “Struttin’ With Some Barbecue,” “Minnie The Moocher,” and others.



    A beautiful program including musical highlights from the world of Broadway over the course of a century. Music from Gilbert & Sullivan and Sigmund Romberg (“Stouthearted Men” &”The Desert Song”) to Irving Berlin and Rodgers & Hammerstein and Andrew Lloyd Weber (“Jesus Christ Superstar” & “Phantom of the Opera” )  These performers are two of Broadway’s hottest vocalists who bring a chemistry to the stage that is unmatched.

    A unique Tyzik program of some of the greatest music of the 1940’s that covers Swing, Broadway, Film and Classical “hits” of that unique decade. Featuring Tyzik’s signature arrangements of the swing classics: In The Mood, String of Pearls, One O’Clock Jump, Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy and more. Broadway hits from “Oklahoma”and ”South Pacific”), Film (“Casablanca”) and Classical (Copland “Hoedown”). This concert has the feel of a big production. Featuring Swing dancers and Jazz and Broadway vocalists.



    Be transported by the sultry, sizzling and seductive sounds of the dance of romance… the tango. Get ready for a night of fiery tango classics including: “La Cumparsita,” “Oblivión,” “El Choclo,” “Volver,” “Por Una Cabeza” and more by Astor Piazzolla, Carlos Gardel and others… all with four Argentinean tango dancers, a vocalist and bandoneón artist. Let’s Tango Caliente! 



    Let’s Dance combines the classic and popular dance styles including Waltz, Cha Cha, Tango, Swing, Jazz, 50s Pop and Dirty Dancing. This toe tapping program is complimented by orchestral showpieces that emphasize a dance theme. All dancers are competitive professional dancers who wow audiences every step of the way. Two vocalists bring pop music to life from “Dirty Dancing” to Peggy Lee’s “Fever.” Includes 7 Dancers and 2 Vocalists.

  • RAY CHARLES, MOTOWN and BEYOND with the “Ambassador of Soul” ELLIS HALL


    A Tribute to Ray Charles, Motown and Beyond is a soulful celebration of the R&B roots and deep passion for the heart and soul of music that Ellis and Ray Charles shared.  Hits include “Georgia on My Mind,” “Hit The Road Jack,” “Ain’t No Mountain,” “America the Beautiful,” “I Heard it Through the Grapevine,” “Let The Good Times Roll” plus some great Ellis Hall originals. This show rocks the house!



    The hometown classic concert featuring your orchestra. Jeff Tyzik has created over 50 holiday pieces for orchestra, orchestra/chorus and orchestra/children’s chorus and special features for orchestra soloists and vocal soloists. Celebrating the holiday season has been Jeff’s specialty for 25 years and Tyzik’s holiday pops concerts now attract over 30,000 concertgoers each year. Chanukah and Christmas selections and special holiday musical arrangements are included. Each Tyzik holiday concert can be adjusted to fit the individual orchestra’s desires. Happy Holidays!



    A journey through the sounds of Latin influence on orchestral standards such as Ginastera’s Estancia Suite and Gershwin’s Cuban Overture plus Tyzik arrangements of Piazzolla’s “Oblivion” and Lecouna’s “Malaguena”, to the Latin influences on today’s popular music as performed by the 5-piece salsa ensemble (bass, sax, drums, piano, sax/flute) The Mambo Kings. The Mambo Kings have created unique arrangements of Dave Brubeck’s “Blue Rondo”, Santana’s “Oye Como Va” and other popular latin standards. A program that integrates the symphonic repertoire with Latin jazz and salsa specials.



    Based on the Tyzik/Nakamatsu best-selling 2007 Harmonia Mundi recording which was at No. 3 on Billboard’s Top Classical Albums chart for seven weeks and in the Top15 Classical Albums chart for four months. This is a rich and entertaining program of Gershwin’s best songs from film and Broadway including “Swanee” and “Our Love Is Here To Stay” plus “Cuban Overture,” “Rhapsody In Blue” and a movement from “Concerto In F.”



    A fun evening featuring Tyzik signature arrangements of the music of Fats Waller, Cab Calloway, W.C. Handy and Dizzy Gillespie with the audience joining in on “Minnie the Moocher”. Other selections include “I Can’t Get Started”, “Flat Foot Floogie”, “St. Louis Blues”, “A Night in Tunisia”, “Honeysuckle Rose”, etc. This exciting evening features the one and only Trumpeter/Vocalist Extraordinaire Byron Stripling!

    Denzal Sinclaire brings the music of Nat King Cole to life with his superlative voice and engaging rapport. This tribute to Nat King Cole includes ten of the biggest hits made famous by one of America’s greatest jazz vocalists. On the second half, Denzal performs unique and stunning versions of other popular songs including “Amazing Grace,” Willie Nelson’s “Always On My Mind” and “Follow You Follow Me” by the rock group Genesis. This concert is full of variety and fantastic arrangements by Grammy award winner Jeff Tyzik. Denzal Sinclaire has the rare vocal gift to weave all of this music together and create a memorable evening of American song.

  • RED, HOT and BLUES!


    From Bessie Smith and Billie Holiday to Count Basie, New Orleans and beyond !  This is an evening of the Blues in every form. The energy never stops in this high energy show.  Great Tyzik arrangements of blues classics including “Basin Street Blues,” “Night Train,” “Gimme a Pigfoot,” “St. Louis Blues” and more. Includes trumpeter/vocalist Byron Stripling, vocalist Dee Daniels, trombonist Wycliffe Gordon, organist/Pianist Bobby Floyd and drummer Robert Breithaupt.
